MY TAKE

I started reading this after I saw numerous outstanding reviews for this book. I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. What I Didn't Say is a story of learning to live with something that you never thought would happen to you. Learning to accept the circumstances handed to you and being thankful for what you do have.

Jake and Sam are both loveable characters and I was immeresed in their story.  Jake had such a great family and was raised with good respect and morals. Jake had his life set out for himself and was only counting down the days to start his new life. But then one night of drinking with his friends leaves him mute forever. I was really sad about what happened to him but appreciated that he went through the motions. He grieved and he coped. I didn't find fault in him at all. He was a sweetheart and his love and protection for Sam was sweet.

Sam was not your typical heroine. She didn't believe in love, relationships or anything other than sticking to her studies and herself. She had alot on her plate and a secret that could destroy everything she worked so hard to gain. When Jake suffers his accident she is his only solace and the only one that seems to help him. But Sam does't expect for Jake to be her solace as well.

Good book, sweet romance and great characters.

Buy it. Read it. Love it.

HAPPY READING
