So I finished this series and I am totally bummed that it’s the end. When I first picked up Girl with Guitar I only expected to probably finish it and maybe read the rest later. Well that wasn’t the case. I actually read right through this series in just a couple of days. That should tell you how much I LOVED this series! When I reached the end of this book I felt empty. Only because I didn't want it to end...but I knew it had too. Trace and Kylie's story was a true love story!

In the final installment of Kylie and Trace’s story we pick up a couple of months after the dreadful breakup. Kylie is living her dreams and drowning in her work so that she doesn’t have to feel the pain of heartbreak. She pretty much becomes the opposite of what she used to be. She keeps to herself and pushes everyone away from her. Her pain will have you feeling sad for her most of the book. But when she has to face the newly recovered Trace it gets to be a lot harder than she ever imagined. No matter how hard she tries to forget what they had and to move on, having him near her breaks all those walls she's trying to keep up.

In the close quarters they both share she comes to realize that it feels just like the beginning and this Trace is completely different. He loves and protects her even after she belittles him and treats him like crap. With a shit load of misunderstanding these two continue their love/hate relationship in this book. Kylie has a hard time letting anyone in and Trace has a hard time showing her how much he still loves her when all she does is push him away.

Girl In Love takes us on ups and downs. All throughout the book you have one thought running through your mind "Would you two just please talk it out!!" :) If they had only talked things through they both could have saved each other a lot of trouble. But of course then the story wouldn't have been so great to read!

Throughout the story we also get more of our loving secondary characters. Rae, Claire Ann, Mia, Lilly, Olivia, Steven, Mike, Pauly and Gretchen are back and better then ever. What I loved about this book is that you got to see more of the secondary characters and quickly wanted to know MORE about them. Which is why I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that they do get their own books, ESPECIALLY Mia and Steven. I have a feeling those two have alot to say.

Perfect ending to a FANTABULOUS series!

Caisey Quinn does is again! Girl on Tour is the continuation of Kylie's story.

The book starts off with Trace and Kylie together, the world is alright. But when Kylie is chosen to go on tour, without Trace, the two are separated for six weeks. However, between the separation and the struggle that Trace is going through to hold onto his career, things start to unravel. When the media gets involved the two stars find it hard to not let them destroy what they have.


Girl on Tour will test out Kylie and Trace's relationship in more ways then they can handle. Ms. Quinn did a wonderful job of portraying the significance the media has in a stars life which was wonderful to read about. Although these two are put through the ringer you get to experience the journey of Kylie's dreams coming true through her eyes.

And while Kylie is off trying to learn more about the world she is now apart of, Trace is struggling to stay above water. Trace...damn Trace just about frustrated me in this. The poor man spent this whole book trying to be a better man but with all the shit thrown his way he struggled. His struggle with his addiction is so real that it makes you sad every time he falters. This part of the story was not an easy one for these two. It was filled with so much sadness but in between that you felt the love between these two and the moments they did have together were just as intense and steamy as in GwG.

We are also introduced to new characters in GoT that will have you wanting to get more of their story. I adored Kylie's friends and her growing friendship with her busmates. Mia, Lily, Olivia, and Steven were all wonderful read about. I look forward to possibly hearing more about them in the future.

Then the ending left me wanting more! So much so that I was biting at the bits to get my hands on the final book!

Go pick this series up and enjoy!

Synopsis

This book was recommended to me by a friend and I hadn’t had the chance to pick it up. Since I had read so much about it I decided now was the time to check it out. (Especially because the final book was releasing.) Why didn’t I pick this up sooner?

Caisey Quinn can definitely weave together a wonderful story! The best part is that her characters were equally wonderful and so damn real about things.

Let me start with Kylie, her protagonist, was one hell of a character. She was a sweet and nice girl but didn’t let anyone trample over her. She came right out and told you what she thought but she also realized when she was wrong. After losing everyone, she was alone in the world and she wanted to follow her dream of becoming a star. Her dream lead her to Trace Corbin and from there things get crazy for her. Not only does she have to deal with the arrogant ass but she has to deal with the reality that her dreams are coming true and with greatness comes great responsibilities. The beginning of her journey was wonderful to see. This girl was as real as they get and a total spitfire.

Then there is Trace Corbin. *sigh* what can I say about this man? He is a total mess and he has a lot to deal with. He has a lot of demons in his pasts and everyone basically puts up with his shit. But the moment that Kylie calls him out he is damn near blown away. The aggressive girl on tour with him isn’t one to put up with his crap. As she tears down his walls he comes to realize that maybe he should stop being the way he is. But Trace is broken, and something’s can never her repaired. This man will have you hurting for him and wishing to wrap him in your arms.

And these two together are a mix to read about. What they don’t realize is that they are both alike. Both are hotheads in their own ways, which leads to a lot of miscommunication and stupid mistakes. But when they are in their element the pages catch on fire.

Girl with a Guitar is the book to read! I can’t say enough about all the characters and the delightful writing. Don’t miss out on Kylie’s story.
