Book Description:
Forever is worth the fight.
Maryah erased all memory of her past lives, but she couldn’t erase her soul mate Nathan, or his undying love. Now, Maryah and Nathan have a second chance at a future together, but first Maryah must remember the person she used to be and embrace her supernatural gifts—more than one kindrily member’s life depends on it.
Maryah’s power is Harmony’s best hope of finding her kidnapped soul mate, Gregory. But Harmony isn’t big on asking anyone for help, and she’s tired of waiting, so she’s taking matters into her own hands. Heaven help anyone who stands in her way.

My Review
“Sex is a sacred act which sadly, over the past few decades, has been demeaned and demoralized until it means almost nothing to most people. Very few still appreciate the emotional and spiritual connection that can and should take place when two bodies and souls are joined together.”Again, Like in Grasping at Eternity, I'm going to warn you that this review might contain gushy moments. Thank Karen Hooper for that. :D
Do you know that feeling you get when you just finish a wonderful story and can't move on to another one with as much enthusiasm? Yeah? A book hangover is what we book lovers call it. Well that's how I felt after finishing Taking Back Forever.
In book 2 of this series we continue off right where we left off. Maryah is still trying to work on remembering her prior lives and reconnecting with Nathaniel. But now that she knows about her Kindrily and the world she is part of she is determined to reconnect with herself so that her powers of astral travelling can come back. There is nothing she wants more than to remember and to help save Gregory, Harmony's twin flame. So starts the training but when nothing works she finds the only way to learn is through her twin flame, Nathaniel. Managing their attraction and love for each other, they slowly uncover a little bit more of Maryah's memories and her powers.
But not enough to save Harmony's soul-mate...
So Harmony runs out of patience. Gregory is trapped with the evil Dedrick and Harmony is desperate to save him from evil's claws. A desperation that leads to tragic circumstances. But Harmony has seen that love never fades and she fights to have what Nathaniel and Maryah have found again. Her twin star glowing next to her.
Told from Maryah's and Harmony's POV Taking Back Forever focuses on two loves lost and reunited. As we see Maryah and Nathaniel work to find Maryah's old self we also see Harmony struggle with saving her soul-mate and then reconnecting with him. But we also see a new love blossom between the pages between two other Kindrily members.
So here's what is comes down to. Book 2 is chuck full of love, so much love! If you love romance you will love this book. If you love the characters introduced in book 1 then expect more of them and their greatness!
The only reason this has .5 a star less is because although a different POV was necessary for this story I missed Nathaniel's POV. And I also wished that Maryah had remembered much more about her prior lives. Nonetheless I am anxiously awaiting for Fighting for Infinity and love this story!
Buy it. Read it. Love it.
